Vocal Roots (@vocalroots_) proudly presents Preserving Our Past — an expertly curated installation designed to spark discussion and reflection on the evolving identities of Afro-Kiwis in Aotearoa. Featuring interactive and engaging elements sourced from public archives, heritage collections, and personal contributions, this installation invites visitors to reflect, explore, and consider new perspectives throughout their experience.

Preserving Our Past will be on display at Auckland City Library from the 19th of May to the 1st of June. The installation will open with a special event on Tuesday, 19th May, from 5–7 pm. This is a free but registered event, so be sure to RSVP early to secure your spot!
